God's desire is to use our WHOLE family to serve Him (Gen. 12:3; Acts 2:39). Essential to this statement is the truth that God expects us to raise our children for Him. We want to raise our children to raise their children and grandchildren not merely to "serve the Lord" but to be 100% sold out to loving Him in dynamic, imaginative, humanly impossible, society - shaking ways through their households.

The responsibility for raising children as described cannot be fulfilled simply by putting a child in a good class hoping that he gets what he needs to succeed. The parents, more specifically the fathers, play a central equipping role (Gen. 18:19). Effective equipping gets to the heart of both the child and the parent through relationships.

We want to minister to the heart of the children AND the parents! This is one reason why the HTS ministry is unique. We not only want to be a tool parents can use to help equip their children, we want to provide tools to equip the parents themselves for this dynamic responsibility.

Toward this end, Harvester Teaching Services provides:

• Core and Elective classes for home schooling students
  
• Parent Equipping Classes - for all parents, whether they home school or not
  
• Resource Center with thousands of curricula and parenting resources available for check out
  
• Standardized Testing for home schooling families
  
• Variety of classes, seminars, etc. for all families
  

Develop partnerships with parents that increase their vision and effectiveness in discipling children at home.

Provide specific, targeted, parent equipping that helps parents apply biblical principles in home relationships and develop and apply a Biblical worldview with their children.

Come alongside parents to help them understand that academics are not an end in and of themselves, but a means to the end of learning about God and applying what we learn in everyday life so that we are making disciples for Him, beginning in our own families, and extending out to our neighborhoods and communities.

Offer specific, targeted, parent equipping that helps with the practical life issues in order to build a more effective home for the Kingdom of God.

Provide resources parents can use to help in relationships, home life, and the training of their children.
